Carlos King has taken his producer skills to the church (let us pray! chile) with his latest reality show Grown and Gospel.

King who has been named The Hollywood Reporter’s 30-ish most powerful producers, released a sneak peak of the show Monday night.

Detroit got a lot of hidden gems everywhere.

Based off the 30 sec. clip, the show which was filmed in Detroit follows the next generation of music royalty.

It looks like the ladies and gentlemen are keeping it real too as they deal with wanting the good life while also trying to please God. Ooh this could get messy.

I see my girl Tasha Page – Lockhart stars or is featured in the new series. She is the daughter of Gospel music singer and First Lady Lisa Page Brooks who was born and raised in Detroit.

The new reality show is set to premiere this March on WE tv.
