Netflix announced on Thursday that Sweet Magnolias has been renewed for a 4th season.

Based on the popular series of novels by author Sherryl Woods, the series follows lifelong best friends Maddie (JoAnna Garcia Swisher), Dana Sue (Brooke Elliott), and Helen (Heather Headley) as they juggle relationships, family, and careers in the charming small town of Serenity, SC.

In season 3 of the romantic drama Maddie struggled to find the best way to approach her situation with Cal. Helen found herself heartbroken again and Dana Sue looked for a way to use Miss Frances’ check to help the community without upending her family.
