Congratulations are in order for tennis star Sloane Stephens and Jozy Altidore, who tied the knot at the St. Regis Bal Harbour in Miami Beach, Florida, on New Year’s Day.

Starting the year off right.

Stephens wore a custom, beaded Galia Lahav couture gown with a Maria Elena headpiece, and Peter Marco diamonds.

Altidore, who plays for Toronto FC, was filled with anticipation as his bride walk down the aisle.

“It’s one of those moments that I know will live in my mind forever and time will stand still when I see her,” he said.

The couple was COVID conscience as they required guest to take COVID test at home and then again on the morning of the wedding. Stephens’ grandparents died in early 2021 from COVID-19 and the couple made sure to leave a specific space during the ceremony for those they’ve lost, according to reports.

The couple got engaged back in 2019. While they’ve known each other since the fifth grade, they didn’t start dating until 2017.
