And Just Like That the Sex and the City sequel will premiere this December on HBO Max.
A New Chapter Begins….
According to THR, the sequel will debut with two episodes on Dec. 9, picking up 11-plus years after the last time Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker) & crew were on the big screens in the second SATC feature film. The remaining eight episodes will roll out weekly.
I’m looking forward to obsessing over Carrie & Big’s complicated relationship & Carrie’s latest pair of Manolo Blahnik’s. *Don’t judge me!” as Carrie so eloquently stated, “It’s a woman’s right to shoes!”
The sequel follows Carrie, Miranda (Cynthia Nixon) & Charlotte (Kristin Davis) as they navigate the journey from the complicated reality of life friendship in their 30s to the even more complicated reality of life and friendship in their 50s.
The show’s cast also features SATC favorites Chris Noth, Evan Handler, David Eigenberg, Mario Cantone and the late Willie Garson. Nicole Ari Parker, who also stars in the sequel will play Lisa Todd Wexley, a Park Avenue mother of three.
