In case ya’ll missed it, former first lady Michelle Obama sat down with Gayle King earlier this week on CBS This Morning to promote her upcoming Netflix special, her new podcast, marriage and more.

The reason we love the former first lady is because of her ability to be unapologetically her authentic self and honest about her insecurities/struggles over the years. King asked her if she regrets letting us in.

“It’s the only way I know how to be me.”

Recent shootings and the battle over abortion access have put the country under high stress. With many looking for answers, Mrs. Obama tells King, “Voting matters.”
