Some of my favorite red carpet slayers were in Venice over the weekend for the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show.
Ciara, Jennifer Hudson and J.Lo understood the assignment. Period!
The ladies made the water their runway as they arrived for the event in all their glam via boat.
J.Lo looked fierce in a floor-length silk turquoise print cape over a jeweled bra top and black trousers featuring a metallic floral print. To complete her look the Queen of the runway wore gold accessories, including block heel sandals with floral embellishments, a top-handle bag, and her glittering crown, also decorated in floral-shaped jewels
J-Hud looked like a princess in a gold ball gown and matching headband. The singer and actress shared a photo of her golden gown on Instagram to celebrate what she called a “fairytale weekend in Venice.”
Ciara was my other favorite look from the event. The singer wore a glimmering, metallic coper dress , sleeked back long hair and a pair of chandelier earrings.
It was also good to see Vanessa Bryant at the show and enjoying herself, since she shared that she was reluctant to go.
“I was reluctant to get away but I’m so glad I did it!,” she wrote on Instagram. “It was so nice to enjoy life a little bit and think about everything I have on my plate. This was so good for my soul. Thank you so much for an amazing weekend, Domenico & Stefano @dolcegabbana.”
The fashion show took place amid the 2021 Venice Film Festival.
