Under the theme, celebrating “Icons of the Culture,” the 5th annual Urban One Honors, premiered Monday night on TV One and CLEO TV. Hosted by R&B singer and actor Tank.

During the televised event David and Tamela Mann received the Inspirational Impact Award and were blessed with a performance from KeKe Wyatt (who sang her face off!) and Marvin Sapp graced the stage with a beautiful performance of his hit single You Kept Me.

The televised event heralds the accomplishments of individuals who have made extraordinary contributions in entertainment, media, music, politics, education, and the community. GRAMMY Award winning singer and actress LeToya Luckett hosted a special backstage pass segment.

Other honorees included Pharrell Williams, LL Cool J, Congresswoman Maxine Waters and Bobby Brown.

Encore presentations will air Thursday, January 19 at 9/8C and Sunday, January 22 at 6PM/5C on the networks.
