DeVon Franklin on Tamron Hall last Tuesday promoting his latest projects “Flamin’ Hots” the inspiring backstory behind Flamin’ Hot Cheetosâ, and “Jesus Revolution,” a film that chronicles the 1971 monumental TIMES Magazine story about the growing Jesus movement in the south.
During the episode Franklin opened up about his divorce from actress Meagan Good.
During their union Devon and Meagan were very open about their courtship and marriage. They sat on marriage workshop panels, they were featured on the series premiere of Black Love Doc and even co-authored the book “The Wait.”
While some might regret sharing so much to end up divorced, Franklin told Tamron he has no regrets.
When we regret we’re looking through the rearview. So there is no regret. It’s like every step lead me here. So everything I shared I shared in truth at that time. I’m so glad we don’t know the future because it impacts how we live the present. So those moments that we shared in the present were honest and true moments and this moment is an honest and true moment.
