Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani relationship was truly a match made in God’s Country!

According to Shelton, their relationship saved him when he was going through his very public divorce from country star Miranda Lambert.

“I tell people all the time, ‘Gwen saved my life.'” Shelton said during an appearance on CMT‘s Hot 20 Countdown. “She did, and I think she would probably tell you something similar about me.” Fans may have been surprised about their relationship, and even he agrees that it was unexpected.

It’s not something that anybody could have seen coming, besides God, I guess, Shelton revealed.

“It doesn’t look like it makes sense, you know? But all I can tell you is, it does, it just makes the most perfect sense for us and where we’re at in our lives.”

The two were co-judges on The Voice and started dating in 2015 after bonding over both of their divorces. They announced their engagement in 2020 and on July 3, 2021, Blake and Gwen officially tied the knot in an intimate ceremony at his Oklahoma ranch with Carson Daly serving as their wedding officiant.
