Actress Yvette Nicole Brown and Actor Anthony Davis are married!
Actress Yvette Nicole Brown got her happily ever after at the age of 53! The actress married actor Anthony Davis on December 14th at the The Maybourne Beverly Hills in Los Angeles in what is being described as an intimate, classy and fun celebration of the couples love.
God is still in the blessing business!
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine the actress shared that her story proves that it’s “never too late.”
“I’m not someone who really likes a lot of attention, and I realized there’s a way that I could have a wedding where I made it more about other people, in the sense that because I am of a certain age and I never thought it would happen for me, my wedding can be an inspirational moment,” she says. “I feel like it’s important to make sure that the way God has blessed me, that I remind people that He is still in the blessing business, and can totally bless them as well.”
Brown and Davis have known each other since they were in their 20s and were in acting class together at church. The two lost contact over the years (Davis was married) and reconnected AFTER his divorce.
“We were platonic friends, and then we lost touch for a few years, and then my mom passed two years ago, and he found me — after he divorced! Divorced first, and then he found me, “Brown shared.
“If you can imagine having one wing in your life and trying to fly with one wing, you kind of go in circles,” he told the outlet. “Now that I’ve found my other wing, I can fly straight and land where I need to land.”
