Whitney Houston Gospel album coming
This Whitney Houston Gospel album is about to bless us this March when her estate releases I Go to the Rock!
Good Morning America was the first to break the news sharing that the album will feature six previously unreleased tracks, including the first single, “Testimony.” which they previewed on the show.
The 14-track album also includes versions of the cherished gospel hits “Jesus Loves Me” and “His Eye Is on the Sparrow.” The album will also unveil unreleased tracks such as “He Can Use Me,” an awe-inspiring live version of “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
A new documentary hosted by friend and Gospel singer CeCe Winans will also accompany the full album.
The documentary TV special, I Go to the Rock: The Gospel Music of Whitney Houston will air on multiple TV networks, premiering Friday, March 24, at 8 p.m. ET. The documentary will take viewers on a journey from her first-ever performance in front of an audience to her many breathtaking appearances performing gospel songs through The Preacher’s Wife soundtrack.
I Go to the Rock releases March 24th.
