The 2023 MET Gala is going down on Monday, May 1st and this year the theme is centered around celebrating the late Karl Lagerfeld.

Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty

Organized and presided over by Anna Wintour since 1995, the Met Gala has become a much-loved annual celebration of fashion held at the Costume Institute at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York.

According to an announcement from the museum, the spring 2023 exhibition theme will be ‘Karl Lagerfeld: A Line of Beauty’. The Met confirmed the news at a press presentation during Paris Fashion Week in September and, more recently, it announced that the theme of the gala would be “in honor of Karl”.
