Pharrell Williams new Louis Vuitton Men’s Creative Director
Pharrell Williams has some big shoes to fill when he takes over as Men’s Creative Director for Louis Vuitton a position previously held by the late Virgil Abloh.
The Wall Street Journal was the first to break the news Tuesday morning and the luxury brand confirmed while we were celebrating Valentine’s Day.
“I am glad to welcome Pharrell back home, after our collaborations in 2004 and 2008 for Louis Vuitton, as our new Men’s Creative Director. His creative vision beyond fashion will undoubtedly lead Louis Vuitton towards a new and very exciting chapter.” – Pietro Beccari, Louis Vuitton’s Chairman and CEO.
The Wall Street Journal called Pharrell a natural fit for the role, already bringing millions of fans to the table and a history of entrepreneurship in apparel.
Pharrell will make his creative directorial debut during Fashion Week in Paris this June.
