Dressed in a pink Elle Woods inspired suit, Reese Witherspoon along with Prime Video announced Tuesday during Amazon’s inaugural upfront presentation  that a Legally Blonde prequel titled Elle has been ordered at Prime Video.

Witherspoon will serve as executive producer of the series that will follow Elle Woods through her high school years, long before her time as the nation’s premier lawyer in pink. According to a release shared with PEOPLE, the prequel delves into “the life experiences that shaped her into the iconic young woman we came to know and love in the first Legally Blonde film.”
