Friday, August 13th is going to be all about Jennifer Hudson and RESPECT!

Not only is everybody waiting to see her as Aretha Franklin in the highly anticipated film, she’s dropping the official music video for “Here I Am (Singing My Way Home)” the lead single from the movies soundtrack.

And get this…. J-Hud filmed the video at New Temple Missionary Baptist Church, the same church Aretha recorded her iconic “Amazing Grace” album.

This song and video are so close to my heart. And what better place to film it than at New Temple Missionary Baptist Church, where @arethafranklin recorded her “Amazing Grace” album ! I’m so excited to share this with yal tomorrow!

The Respect movie hits theaters Friday, August 13th. Gather the family and your mask and go check it out.
