Former BET CEO Debra Lee is about to give us a look into the glitz and glamour and insight into what is was like being a Black woman and the BOSS in the entertainment industry.

Releasing March 7th everywhere books are sold, I AM Debra Lee is described as “part memoir and part career advice book,” the book chronicles Lee’s upbringing and professional story in which she shares “key insights,” “hard-learned lessons” and her story of “how she came to be the leader of a major enterprise and the ‘first’ in many rooms.”

The former CEO said in a statement,
