The singer reprises her role as Cinderella 25 years later in the new Disney television movie “Descendants: Rise of Red.”
She first starred as the beloved princess opposite the late Whitney Houston’s Fairy Godmother in the 1997 television movie “Rodgers & Hammerstein’s Cinderella.”
Based off footage from the set, viewers will also see the return of Paolo Montalban, who played Brandy’s Prince Charming in the 1997 movie, which was groundbreaking for its multicultural casting. Charming is now king, and Cinderella is queen.
