Tiffany & Co., which pledged $2 million in scholarship funding for Historically Black Colleges and Universities in tandem with its “About Love” campaign featuring Beyoncé and Jay-Z, has named the five beneficiaries, which includes Bennett College.

The private, women’s college is set to receive a total of $400,000 over four years.

If ya’ll remember back in 2018 the HBCU lost it’s accreditation after a decline in enrollment led to financial deficits, layoffs and budget cuts.

Celebrities and community leaders like Pastor Jamal Bryant got behind Bennett and encouraged their followers to help save the private college.

It was announced back in 2020 that the private historically Black women’s college had been granted candidate status by the Transnational Association of Christian Colleges and Schools.

The other beneficiaries include Lincoln University in Pennsylvania, Norfolk State University in Virginia, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff and Central State University in Ohio.

Tiffany noted that the scholarship program is in partnership with Beyoncé’s BeyGood foundation and Jay-Z’s Shawn Carter Foundation.
