Mississippi Actress Aunjanue Ellis Essence Black Women In Hollywood Honoree
Essence Black Women in Hollywood is giving Mississippi actress Aunjanue Ellis her flowers.
Essence announced the honorees for its milestone 15th anniversary ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards and the King Richard star is one!
The Mississippi raised Ellis got her start in theater and made her film debut in Girls Town and has starred in The Clark Sisters, Lovecraft Country, Quantico, The Help, Men of Honor and others. She is hands down one of the best actresses out there.
Taking place March 24th, at the Beverly Wilshire, ESSENCE will mark this momentous occasion by highlighting “The Black Cinematic Universe.”
Other honorees include: Nia Long, Quinta Brunson and actress Chanté Adams.
