Greenleaf star Deborah Joy Winans announced that she and her husband of eight years, Terrence Williams are expecting their first child together.

The actress shared the news with Essence, while also revealing her struggle with having fibroids while carrying her unborn son. Yes she’s expecting a baby boy!

From excruciating pain to having to have emergency surgery to have her cervix stitched up, the actress is just thankful to God that her son is still growing and healthy.

“At that point it just became, ‘Okay, God. We got to figure this out,’” she adds. “There’s been a lot of moments of just doubt and [uncertainty] and now at this point, I just try to wake up every day and just say, ‘Thank you Lord.’ And just be excited about what I believe is going to happen. And I believe he’s going to come. I believe he’s going to make it.”
