Actress Bresha Webb and her television writer husband Nick Jones, Jr. are expecting their first child together.

The actress shared the news exclusively with PEOPLE,

I’m just a person that always has a Clearblue pregnancy test because you just never know. We actually had the Clearblue digital pregnancy test and it came up pregnant and I was like, ‘Whoa. Wow,’ ” she recalls, sharing that Jones Jr. was filming the moment. “It’s a blessing. We’re so grateful.

The couple were married back in February in an old Hollywood theme wedding that included a serenade of This Is Why I Love You from singer MAJOR.

It feels like an answered prayer,” Webb shared about her big day. “Having a successful career, I started to doubt that my dream of marriage and family was ever going to come true. Now that I have a husband and now daughter, I trust God’s timing in everything. Because our love couldn’t have come at a more perfect time.

This will be the couple’s first child together. Nick has a daughter from a previous relationship that Bresha loves on like she’s her own.
