Hey ladies!!! Girls Trip 2 has been confirmed and the ladies are headed to Ghana.
That’s right, pack your imaginary bags and your tribe because according to Variety, Girls Trip co-screenwriter Tracy Oliver said during the Sundance Film Festival that “it’s officially happening. I can say that,” in regards to the sequel. “No one else knows this and Will Packer might kill me, but we’re looking to set it in Ghana.”
And yes!, Queen Latifah, Regina Hall, Jada Pinkett Smith, and Tiffany Haddish will all reprising their roles. In the first movie the ladies attended the Essence Music Festival, but for the 2nd installment, Oliver teased that the ladies might be going to Afrochella which is held in Ghana.
Can we say…. Can’t wait!
